Probst VPH-150-GREENLINE Vacuum Hand Laying Device

The Probst VPH-150-GREENLINE is a powerful, battery-operated vacuum lifting device designed to make the handling and installation of dense paving materials faster, safer and more efficient. With a 150 kg working load limit, the VPH-150 is ideal for lifting and positioning heavy natural stone, granite, concrete and other non-porous paving products.

Its compact and ergonomic design provides excellent control during installation, while the rechargeable 12 V battery eliminates the need for power cables or a mains electrical supply. This makes the VPH-150 particularly well suited to construction sites, landscaping projects, paving contractors and other applications where portability and manoeuvrability are important.

Efficient Vacuum Lifting

The VPH-150 uses a powerful vacuum pump and specialised suction seal to securely grip dense, non-porous surfaces. The supplied 440 x 250 mm oval suction plate provides a working load limit of up to 150 kg at -500 mbar, allowing operators to handle substantial paving elements with significantly less manual effort.

The two-component, highly wear-resistant sealing system is designed to maintain an effective vacuum even when the suction plate is positioned over sharp edges. Unlike conventional seals, it is designed to resist permanent deformation, helping to extend service life and reduce maintenance requirements.

Battery Powered for All-Day Operation

Powered by a rechargeable 12 V AGM battery, the VPH-150 provides cordless operation without the need for mains power or extension leads. An automatic energy-saving function helps conserve battery power, with Probst specifying that a single charge can provide a full day’s laying operation under suitable operating conditions.

A built-in manometer and battery charging indicator allow operators to monitor vacuum performance and battery status during operation.

Ergonomic Two-Person Operation

The adjustable handle system is designed to accommodate two operators and can be adjusted in both height and width. This allows the VPH-150 to be configured for different working positions and laying applications, helping improve operator comfort and control when positioning heavy slabs.

The handles can also be removed for easier transportation and storage.

Reduce Manual Handling

By using vacuum power to lift and hold paving elements, the VPH-150 can significantly reduce the physical effort required to move and position heavy slabs. This makes it easier for operators to accurately place materials while reducing the need to manually grip and manoeuvre heavy products.

When fitted with the optional VPH-RS wheel set, the VPH-150 can be converted into a mobile vacuum laying system that allows dense slabs to be moved and installed by a single operator.

Durable Construction

The VPH-150 is manufactured with durability in mind, featuring a galvanised surface finish for long-lasting protection against wear and the demanding conditions commonly encountered on construction and landscaping sites.

A built-in chain compartment, load-securing chain and lifting eye are included as standard, providing additional versatility for handling and hoist-assisted applications.

The vacuum seal can also be replaced without adhesive or specialist tools in approximately one minute, making routine maintenance quick and straightforward.
