The Slanetrac SA1000 Swivel Trim is a mounting frame designed to suit tractors, skid steers and telehandlers. It comes standard with the Cutter Bar (also known as a “Sickle Bar”).

The standard cutting head features reciprocating blades, which produce a clean and precise cut, ideal for trimming hedges and fruit trees. The blades are sharpened and have guiding steel fingers which direct branches into the cutting area, allowing the operator to achieve a neat finish with ease. This attachment is able to cut up to 40mm thick branches.

A tractor with an appropriate hydraulic flow is required for the system to work effectively. Two hydraulic lines are connected to the cutting head from the rear of the tractor. Two hydraulic lines from the front loader adjust the angle of the cutting head horizontal to vertical.

The SA1000 has a spring break away, which protects the cutting head from damage. It is extremely easy to operate because cutting is directly in-front of the operator, offering great visibility. With the cutting head in front, steering provides responsive control.

A front loader can cut neatly and evenly while reaching great heights. By removing one pin, it is simple to swivel the cutting head to the opposite side to clear brush from corners and beneath fences. With any other hedge cutters, this task is very challenging.

The bar is 1800mm wide. It is also available in 1500mm, requiring less oil flow.
