Slanetrac HS55 Plastic Flail Brush Cutter Excavator Attachment

The Slanetrac HS55 Plastic Flail Head excavator attachment (also known as a “Whipper Snipper”) suits small and medium sized excavators from 2 T – 3.5 T.

The high RPM plastic blades produces a clean and precise cut, ideal for cutting thick grass, in applications including: roadside vegetation management, farming, fruit orchard maintenance and fence line clearing. The blade is constructed from 3 heavy-duty plastic blades, mounted to a high-RPM hydraulic motor. A skilled operator can easily achieve a neat finish.

With a simple and robust design, this attachment is very low maintenance. The plastic blades are easily replaceable, simply by removing a bolt.

Supplied with an adjustable hitch utilising the Slanetrac “star-spine”, which allows 360° rotation of the attachment in line with the excavator arm. This enables the operator to cut on unusual angles.

You can further improve the versatility of the attachment with accessories including the HC-E1 one meter extension and 360 swivel joint, allowing the operator to reach the far side of obstacles.
